Ingredients
  

  • 3 pieces Ripe Bananas Must be ripe for sweetness
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter (melted)
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Brown Sugar (packed)
  • 2 pieces Large Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
  • In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
  • Stir in the melted butter into the mashed bananas.
  • Add the granulated sugar and brown sugar, mixing well.
  • Beat in the eggs and vanilla extract until fully combined.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients, mixing just until combined. Be careful not to overmix.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  • Bake for 60-70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Let the banana bread cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Overripe bananas are excellent for baking bread. Their sweetness & moisture content make the bread delicious. If desired, add nuts or chocolate chips for extra texture. Avoid overmixing the batter to ensure a light & airy texture. For convenience, you can freeze sliced portions. Wrap them tightly in plastic wrap and store in an airtight container. Allow the slices to thaw at room temperature or heat them in the microwave for a quick snack.
