  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons Baking powder
  • 2 teaspoons Ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup Cinnamon-sugar mixture

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan with non-stick spray or line it with parchment paper.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and ground cinnamon.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, vanilla extract, and melted unsalted butter until well combined.
  • Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Once baked, remove the bread from the oven and allow it to cool in the pan for 10 minutes.
  • While the bread is still warm, brush the top with melted butter and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar generously.
  • Allow the bread to cool completely on a wire rack before slicing and serving.

Notes

For a more indulgent taste add chopped walnuts or pecans to the batter for a delightful crunch. If you prefer a creamier texture incorporate a swirl of cream cheese into the center before baking. The cinnamon sugar coating adds the perfect sweet and crunchy finish. Customize the recipe by experimenting with different spices or toppings.
